Hello mate!

Battery was from ebay, circa £120!

Induction kit is custom, cost around £190!

Remap would be needed IMO

kevo... sorry a question... but.. sucks dirty air this...? no? cold but dirty

Yep, thats what the air filter is for, to make sure no dirt goes through!!!

+ humid air when raining - the wheel will spray water mist straight into the intake

Yes it will, a very good friend of mine runs a Clio race team and is also an engine/engine controll specialist who has written many of the ECUs that the top teams in the UK use, he assures me there is no problem with this, it will cool the intake slightly. I dont know what people panick about getting a little moisture in ther air intake for, wherever you have a cold air feed external to the car you WILL suck in moisture.

Remids me of when I got the tiny redtop battery and everyone told me it would be dead within a week and wouldnt run the car bla bla.... nearly a year on, its fine!! Agian, this was due to research, red top batteries were originaly militairy batteries and are far more powerful (even the smaller sizes) than normal batteries and last just as long if not longer!

The tests proved that the wheel arch was alot higher pressure than the front of the car to force more air through the filter!

I have a new filter set up on the way though but it involves cutting the bumper and slam panel!

can't you enlarge a bit antifog sx and make the same work? is not an opposition, is only to talk about

Through the fron grilles but you need to modify the slam panel and move the washer bottle!

whaser bottle isn't the radiator's liquid? or you in england have the washer liquid there?

yesterday i thought how connect a tube to my r3airbox and take air from the front grill...
i thought to rotate 180° the airbox, so the hole of the airbox is near the front grill..

the problem is how move the radiator's liquid.. no problem for slam panel, just cut 2 little pieces..
