I've been looking at the Merc Unimog, that would be awesome fun to build, no idea what I'd do with it afterwards though...

I (foolishly) had a look on Amazon for some of my old Lego/Technic sets. The prices they go for are amazing, I totaled about £3k from 8 sets I had as a kid...!

Lad has this for his 7th birthday on Friday

Bit if a rip off imo as all you get is the train, a tiny amount of track and token platform with crappy crossing.

So got him another station and some more track to go with the rest I posted earlier.

£145 all in with 10% discount.

Will post some pics when it's built but he has football training all day and then again in the evening.
