Engine sounding noisy

Hey guys did a full service on the car 5000 miles ago and the cambelt maybe 2000 miles ago and the car is starting to sound tappetey on idle and gets louder with revs, would an oil and filter change maybe cure this ? Could the oil be a bit thin/old, or do I have to replace all the hydronic tappets at £30 a peice

I'm using Mobil 3000 5w40 fully synthetic

Just want people's opinions has it happened to u ? And how did u cure it
