clio cup racers

Sounds very very interesting Mike!

I think this will be encouraging a fair few people to strip them over the winter lol!

lol yes. and the back brakes. im searching for 2 pots with handbrake. I dont want to sound like a freak but ive got an idea in my head now and just want to sort the brakes out.

Nope, all you need is enough for the ESP to grab hold of and keep the car stable - they have very little contribution to stopping force.

You need rear brakes for tight turns ;p

Woody, you need a cable operated handbrake for an MOT, as a legal requirment. and typically a fly-off type rear brake lever (hand operated) is hydraulic, so if you cant find hydro with cable handbrake, use two sets of smaller calipers.

On mine, ive got some AP twin pot small-ish hydro calipers for the fly-off rear brake, then have the standrad set-up (cable) for parking brake which I will likely remove after MOT (as the car will do about 50 road miles a year, all of which will be testing over the Black Mountains!).
