Public Service Announcement...
There are 40 BP tanker drivers going on strike in NE England from today until Monday.
You do not need to panic buy any fuel, it will only effect about 15 petrol stations in NE England and SE Scotland, the bulk of the strike will see a couple of small airports not getting their deliveries. The striking drivers will all be back in work on Monday morning, so if you have enough fuel to last until Tuesday then you don't need to go and buy a million litres and drive the prices up. Also, if you don't actually live in the effected areas, or even if you do live there but have access to any of the other petrol providers like Shell, Tesco, etc., then again, you do not need to start panic buying.
The more we panic when they strike, the more they'll do it and the more the prices will go up.
Keep calm and go to Shell.
Thank you.
