bonjour ! ex vee dubber gets garlicky

hi
everyone im dan and ive bought a french car!
there i said it !
I've jumped ship after owning v.a.g stuff for 20+ years and have bought a 197 which so far im over the moon with
i met a few of you at the french car show the other week and the scene seems pretty cool and not as cliquey as the vw shows
i was originally gonna buy a twingo rs133 but after joining the forum i was put off by the amount of problems they seem to have, id discounted a clio as i thought they were out of my price range but my bug fetched more than i expected so i went to test drive one and was smitten

this was my beetle track/show car and my mapped golf 5 gttdi 4 motion daily

Yeah alien green is lovely colour.
Use to be a g60 many years ago now its a 1.9 fully forged 20v turbo 435bhp all stripped out carbon bonnet and roof.
It never fails to put a smile on my face.

been lurking for a while but got arse in gear now

re, trimming, i try and do mainly job for job swaps , i do work for mechanics/sprayers etc and they work on my cars, ideally i need builders, landscape gardeners and joiners etc who want trimming doing and can come and do some work on my house lol
also willing to trim in exchange for parts i need etc
i work on porsches full time so can only do smaller stuff on the side otherwise i get no time off at all
i aint the cheapest though but i do it right, typically front and rear seats in full nappa leather would start around £1k depending on spec and level of detailing, ie contrasting stitching, embroidery , embossing etc etc, but can be cheaper in other less expensive leathers/ vinyls

tree im in andover, but am in salisbury a lot as the mrs works there
cheers
dan

Bug looks lovely on those Fifteen52's. I don't think I've ever seen a track prep'd new gen Bug, and that looks awesome. Hopefully you'll fetch a bit of the VW flair to the Clio, no doubt you'll have fun driving it

Welcome along  I'm a plumber so always happy to do job for job jobs  kept my old van on the road for years with the help of a mechanic that wanted a bathroom done lol

Heyup mate welcome to the site looking forward to seeing what you do with the clio,
your work looks quality.
