Hi, i sold my corsa vxr nurburgring edition at the end of october last year to free up some cash, i was originally looking at 197's but i decided to go for a 182 as i would be saving alot more which was the whole point in selling the burg.
I looked at a few that wernt in very good condition, i eventually found the right one which was a 250 mile round trip.
It was bought at the end of october/beginning of november totally standard apart from a full decat miltek...
Full fat arctic blue with full service history, 2 owners, 48k miles, both keys, all the belts done 9k miles ago,6 months tax, 10 months mot, all documents, manual etc in original renault folder, all receipts for all the work done, new battery, jack and locking nut etc all in original leather holder, 4 good tires and the whole car was in immaculate condition apart from one curbed alloy.
All this for £2450
I am going for the standard but revived new look.
Pics after i had picked it up after its 1st clean...
40mm apex springs...
fabia font splitter and numberplate surrounds...
led numberplate bulb...
silvertec indicators...
red calipers...
bright sidelights...
bright fog lights...
pressed plates...
heko wind deflectors...
renault F1 decal...
anthracite front and rear diamonds...
homemade ktec style induction kit...
vid (poor quality)...
197 badge...
wheels refurbished in vauxhall moonland...
I hated the tacky red calipers, so i did them a smart subtle silver...
sprayed the tacky looking gearknob insert...
onto tidying the engine bay up a little.
sprayed the engine cover and fuel rail...
2.0l 16v decal...
polished strut top covers...
polished battery cover...
brand new sparkling coolant tank...
I also didnt like the anthracite diamonds so i replaced them with origional chrome ones, i also removed the renault F1 decal off the bonnet.
This is where it is at at the moment, here are a few pics after a machine polish and a detail this weekend...
This was the engine bay before i started with it although its not finished yet...
and now...
