Window regulator

Hi guys I need help. I recently changed my set of speakers to higher output.

After installation, the passenger side window cant wind up and down in auto. Meaning i have to keep pressing the down button many time in order to fully wind down the window.

My audio installer is asking me to buy a new regulator and that cost a bomb.

Any suggestion to solve this issue?

send the window all the way down....keep button pressed for 3-5secs

then send it up and do the same once closed - it might reset/relearn limit stops

that's if the window works quietly and smoothly - I assume so?

Hi. Tried that. But is not working. One thing i notice. It will stop working for awhile after pressing too long as if the motor overheated.

If not the window works quietly and is smooth. Just that it cant go full auto. Only intermittent.

Any other advise?

Problem solved.

The issue is the speaker magnetic is affecting the normal operation of the motor.

I did some sound proofing which material is aluminum around the regulator and everything is back to normal.
