Whiney when cold

Hi everyone as title I'm driving a 200 cup. The timing belt was done at Renault at around 43000 it's now at 49000 every morning when cold the motor is crazy whiney from the driver side it gets allot quieter when warmed up it's been this since I owned it just never got around to asking if it's normal

Mine used to whine quite a bit, to be honest, when it did, it actually drove much better and didn't seem to have to cold start issues. Never assumed it to be an issue, and nothing ever manifested from it.

My 197 is exactly the same, seems to go away once warm. It's a case of "They all do that sir"
