Which tyres?

I have had v12's and conti's on the car and i have been happy with both but should i try something new? if so what?

I'd like to try the V12's but the fact that they're £40 less than the Conti's always makes me feel a bit apprehensive....they can't be as good an all rounder for that much less surely?!!

To answer your original question it depends how much you want to spend. If you want the dogs danglies then you can go for some PE2's but will cost you obviously.

You've already had the best mid-range so I'd stick to what you know personally. Not worth taking a risk with something like tyres imo.

If both were the same price, I'd personally still go for the Hankook's.

The Hankooks are quiet and durable with decent grip but the Contis are still better when you push the car really hard.

Tyre preference is very individual. On road, I prefer the V12. On track the difference is even greater, in the V12's favour. Just shows that it's all down to personal opinion.

If the OP is planning on any track days, the Hankook RS2 is far better than both options.

Remarkable for the price! £61 @ camskill.

I've had Goodyear F1's for over a year now and love them in the dry but not so much in the very wet conditions. The version 2's have got great reviews but i'm tempted to try the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo, if they're coming top if tyre testing they must be good...
