wheres best for Service & MOT, help!

My clio 197 is coming up for its annual service and MOT, I have recently moved so not sure wheres best to take my car, so if anyone can recommend a Renault specialist or dealer in the North West area that would be very helpful? (I live in Cheshire so anywhere from stoke to manchester would be ideal)

Always take mine to Birchdown, they are nearer to you than they are to me. Nice drive down there too.

Thanks Mike. I've just got a 197 and was wondering where to get it done locally. The first two services were done at Renault Manchester, but that's a bit far to be practical really. Now that Lookers in Macclesfield has gone, the nearest official dealer is in Crewe. Do people think an official service history really matters? It wouldn't bother me personally if a car had one or not.

Turns out I can't read properly and it has been serviced elsewhere anyway, so it doesn't matter now!

had my 36k done there, they know their stuff and own renaultsports themselves

I will be taking mine to St Helens, the RTE there (Ant) really knows his stuff, took my 182 there for years.

Paulasaurus, as far as I'm aware so long as you use genuine parts, you can have it serviced anywhere and still retain warranty. Legal closed that monopoly scam years ago.

Votex have looked after a few Clio Cup racers over the years and Dom who does a bit for them spent years working for a race team that had 4 of them. He's setting up on his own now, so for specialist prep, he's going to be the man to see.
