Wheel spacers, Idiots guide?

Well i'll fit em, seeing as i've paid £200, and take it easy at first.

The 197s not exactly stable under braking anyway!

Should be?

No worries, just giving a balanced opinion. I dive my cars how for what they are made for, some cars on here dont leave the city, so its no problem

I agree with you on that, i give my car hell on the twisties, boucing off the rev limiter and getting the abs kicking in lol.

Thats why im after optimal handling advantage with new coilovers, if spacers are gonna affect that then sod the looks benefit. Will have to test em out.

the rally clio, the R3 drives on ET41 7x17 wheels, I believe they did it to have more grip in the corners not for the looks or am I wrong...

They make the car feel like a wet willy handling wise. I used to have 12 mm all round and they ruined the car. They looked good but at a compromise :worried:

The thing is if you widen the track you need to adjust the front and rear camber to accommodate it.

Suspension setup is a combination of adjustments that are made to suit the driver and the surface being driven on.

Spacers are pointless imo
