Hi guys!

I'm planning to get my SPAX coilovers today from dcperformance.co.uk, but since I'm doing an international order, everything is done through e-mail. Now they want a copy/picture of my credit cards both sides and a copy of my ID to identify that they have the right person. Now, I'm not too comfortable with putting such things up on the internet and want to know, if anyone here has had any experiences with this site? The prices are damn good.

Any self-respecting genuine company will never ask for such details.

Give them a wide berth.

Sideways Danny sells this kit and is a trader on here so I'd go with him.
 
It's because you're in Estonia, they don't want to get scammed themselves.
Sorry, I don't do overseas sales, I'm not really a mailorder company I'm workshop based and the majority of my sales are supply and fit.

It should be and they are in the UK anyway. It does sound like they just don't want to get screwed over though.

Personally I'd offer to send them the ID but I wouldnt be overly keen to send copies of a bank card.

It's a difficult one as they are a business after all but you still never know how much you can trust the company but also how they'd handle such sensitive information too...
 
Whats the difference between paying online and sending them a photocopy?

They'll get your details either way. If you send copy of one side, they'd still need the security code off the back to use it if they were going to?
