VW style DAYLIGHT, Painted cupra R lip Images.

Hi all, i just fitted the daylight device, similar to VW and AUDI cars.

It is the device that puts 8volts into your long beam light bulb.
In our country daylights have to be on all the time at the day.

It looks really good, all the other lights are off, just the long beam with 8Volts charge.

I can get a hold on those devices in my country for a good price.

I painted my cupra R front lip in gloss black.

U get it from VW dealership, or Seat, i bought it for 30e. Its pretty easy to fit..
U cut the stock rubber that is fitted onto bumper in half, as seen on the picture.

U just use screws sharp once, to screw the spliter onto the bumper, center it in the middle, then the pieces that are sticking out in the wheel arch, just chop off
its 20 minutes job
Just make sure u paint it first it looks far more cooler

What do you mean wanna shed ?

IT costs around 60 euros. There is a company that makes them in my country.

No website mate, the guys are electric private shop. They dont really sell online those devices. If you order the device they make it for you.
Perhaps if you want we can arrange group buy, so i can get them for you guys.

I'd be interested in how one of them DRL devices works, seems a pretty good idea. Does your main beam still function 100% on the stalk?

Everything works normally, what happens is that once you start the car, and your light switch is @ 0 position, your long beam light goes on with like 30% of the power, that makes it a daylight.
Once you flash with long beam, or pull the light lever, the intensity of the light increases to 100%.

Once you open your normal beam light / xenons, the daylight goes off, and works just normally.

Yep Thats how it works, but far far far less complicated, basically there are 5wires to connect, 2 on battery 2 on lights and 1 on ground.
No need for fuses etc.. it is all stored in a device that is the size of matchbox

Hi mate, really like the look of the front lip, going to get myself one. Can you tell me why you have to cut the rubber valance in half, can I not just take it off all together and fit the cupra lip straight to the bumper?

Was it a bumper-off job for your bulbs? Sweet splitter - not seen this before!

Clios look fab on those euro-type plates - the UK have dull plates.
