Any reccomendations please, I need bluetooth for the hands free & an ipod aux but want to keep the dash display ideally, the man from Halfords reckons it cant be kept if I change the system, which seems a shame :/
 
Yes you will lose the display except for temperature and time I believe.

As for head unit choice, I've seen a few alpines exchange hands on here but in would imagine its more down to personal choice and budget.
