Tyre question

Have winter tyres in 197 wheel size (215/45) and want to know if I will have any fitment issues or speedometer issues with putting these on the wheels of the 200t which are 205/45.

I know obviously that people fit 225s on 215 rims. But just making sure it won't be an issue before I get them fitted.

Wow - the MK4 Clio only has 205 tyres on? I'm surprised by that. Even my wife's 1.2 Ibiza has wider tyres than that!

The 215's will go on the rims, and your speed will be out (but only a tiny amount, maybe 1%?)

You won't even notice the difference on the speedo. My old 106 had 13"s but I fitted 14" rallye steels and it was almost the same the speedo will probably be about 1 or 2 mph out at 100 mph max, I tested the difference on my 106 using the sat nav speedo for comparison and I could barely tell.
