Tyre Pressures

Currently running AD08's

I know the weathers still pretty crap, was -6 with me this morning, so I'm just driving normal with them.

Just a quick question, what pressures do people run the ad08's?
I'm running F34 R31? Is this right?

Somewhere between 30 and 33 psi on the road when I had them, the only reason to lower them is if you're on track and getting them very hot to maintain the correct contact patch shape as much as possible.

That's fine

Thanks for clearing that up, was just wondering if these don't need as much air or something, they seem pretty hard with the bigger sidewalls.

i run 30 in the fronts and 32 in rear

really? Surely the fronts should be higher? I actually couldnt find the standard figures in the 200 book, so i did 33/31.

oh and Kenny, can you help me change my bulbs? please tell me I don't have to take the bumper off?

Run higher pressures in the rear if you like to provoke some extra oversteer, not a bad thing with the standard suspension.

I have hands like snow shovels and managed to change all the bulbs without removing the bumper, you should be able to.

I run 30 front 32 rear the rear struggle to get heat in them hence the higher pressure.
After a track day session I checked the pressures when hot front went up to 39
And the rears only 35. great tyres just transform the car!

i changed my bulbs when i wrapped my splitter and plasti-dipped my front diamond so the bumber was off anyway

i always favour slightly lower pressure upfront for a tad more grip. i find it works well with my AD08's

Plus with the crap weather and all the grease coming out the tarmac i didnt want them over inflated

I've seen a picture of what you need to move on the passenger side to try access the light but could you get a picture of how to move what you need to on the drivers please?

Just the washer fluid neck, small flat head screw driver to remove the plastic screw and it then it just pulls off.

That must be shocking oversteer surely?

Mines F34 R31 and the oversteer is predictable when it gives.

I can't see why you'd want to promote oversteer? The cars don't really understeer even

Because its fun!! And you can get back on the power earlier, controlling the slide with the throttle. Certainly better when there's no lsd!

i run the same pressures front and rear, you know where your at then and you can adjust them accordingly,33 front and rear road and 30 front and rear track to start with
