Can anyone recommend any brands apart from Renault ?

Noticed on ECP the passenger side one is half the price (£15 ) of the drivers.

Not sure how that would be mate! They are the exact same apart from sided! Il get you a part no and price for one on monday from work, i got one for about £20 and is fine.

Oh right a see what you mean now. I got the track rod end that was longer as that is the one that came off. Cant remember what brand but seems fine up to now. Il fInd out for you.

You sure that they fit as I was under the impression that they are Renault/r-sport items only.

Difference between those part numbers are brand - Ocap are aftermarket and lemforder are O.E parts.

Slightly different design too. The 197 ones are the more expensive , which I realised when I had a good look at mine.

Ordered a pair of lemforder ones from CP4less, around £26 each after discount.

Any tips for changing the TRE's?

Tip for others doing this, you will need a decent adjustable or 21 mm spanner for the TRE retaining nut
