track day car

yeah, MX5 or Nissan 200sx.. something rear wheel drive, light and parts readily available 2nd hand (to keep costs down).

I used to have a 20sx and it sent nicely on track, albeit a daily used road car..

defo a 106 gti/106 rallye or saxo vts/vtr. cheap as chips loads of parts easily available and quick enough for most uk tracks

do what im doing, i were going to get a 197 for track days but i couldnt justify the cost of the car for abusing.

so instead im getting a 172, should be a good track car imo and you dont have to spens much on them to make them a good track car.

I would agree with Mike, either a 172 or an MX5, both would be really good fun, which is the main aim!

172s are dirt cheap now, below the 3k bracket.

these will be sort after like mad for track cars in the next couple of years or so due to the drop in value

type r's are way out of his range for a track car you would need to know its a good one thats why i said about the lower spec sir's or vti's
