Tow strap adapter

Hello i made myself some tow strap adapter for rs197 it looks funny but do you think thiss is safe to use? I drilled a hole in the back od the m20 screw then i cutted thread inside of it for a smalled bolt that fits through the hole of tow strap

It’ll work. But the strap buckle will likely bend/fail as it needs to be orientated in the direction it will be getting pulled from.

Oh okay but is there any adapter avaible online for purchase that tow strap woud be oriantated as you mentioned

Like I said though. I think the strap would probably be ok. I’m just of the opinion that it is a bit poor

Ive got one of this to and the original from car trunk but i really like the look of tow strap

You could use a shoulder bolt, allowing the tow strap to move but still be fixed in place
