Top mount worry.

Should I be worried? Just been cleaning the scuttle panel and came across this when I took the cover off.

Nah mine was like that just the rust coming off. Give it a good lashing of WD40 once clean as well as the wiper arm pivot points!

I did inquire about some new covers as like yours mine had the rubber bits hanging off, £14.38 each + a bit of postage for some new ones.

Wouldn't worry about it! Had a bit on mine, cleaned it off.

I was thinking about waiting until its dry and super gluing the rubber back haha. It only worried me because the passanger side one wasnt rusted in the slightest..

I found my driver's side one was more rusted. Perhaps due to clogging of that drain?

nah it fine, they all like that. Just let it dry and glue it.

Mine were lyk this a just dryed them and covered the threads with grease
