Halfords tools are actually quite good even though the reputation is cheap. I particulary find their ratchets to be excellent, do I dare say better than snap on? I think halfords stuff is made by mac tools and they're very reputable.
I use teng tools at work myself, just as good as snap on and with a lifetime guarantee but half the rip off!
