Christopher, the trim looks like it would fit back into place, however I'm guessing it will need a bit of modifying to work. If you are wanting to get one of the CAE shifters though, I would certainly encourage it!
Can you see any way of keeping the factory trim in place with the shifter installed?
i got these photos sent by someone on here, because me too wanted to know how the shifter would look with the factory trim in place ...
