The best cleaning product for.............

I have removed my F1 decals and the roof has been left with a lot of residue left on it. So far I have used AutoGlym intense tar remover, iron x, fairy liquid and a few others it has taken the top layer of gunk off but not the all of it does anybody have any recommendations????

I doubt claying will have any effect tbh, try a test area by soaking some tar and glue remover on a makup pad and leave it on the surface for 30 mins or so (not in the sun) and this generally soften the adhesive up, I use this method for number plate and wheel weight adhesives.. giving all my top tips away now
AG t&g isn't particularly effective, a better product is Autosmart Tardis, either way both emulsify so can be applied to a wet panel and rinsed off afterwards.

Tardis is fairly strong for that type of work. I wouldn't let it touch any plastics though ie headlights, grills, rubs trips etc
