My friend set up a body shop about 18 months ago after moving from BMW Racing as a panel specialist and he has offered to fully wrap my car in Matte Black for £150 if i put three small stickers with his company name on my two rear windows and one on the back!

I use the car fairly regularly and although I love the look of matte black I'm just not quite sure what the wear and tear on wrapping rather than painting is?

Any ideas on this and is anyone able to do a photoshop image of what it may look like please.
 
for £150 in matt balck - get it done !

DO IT! dont see many like that. The vynly is ok and will protect your paint over the winter. Unfortunately big stones will make small wholes in it but gwenerally the vynil has more give so doesnt actually tear., a freind had it done on his golf and it looked great.
 
I'd be all over that, as said it will be one of a kind (well maybe not, but your not likely to see another) and for that price you'd be crazy not to. Can always come off if you dont like it.
 
i personally don't like any matte colours (i lurve polishing... ha ha) but i think getting a vinyl wrap for the sake of £150 is well worth it!
 
been told matt red is the next big thing. Apparently it looks awesome. Ask for that.

Matt is like marmite, love it or hate it.

From a distance it can simply look like a dirty black, but up close it looks amazing!

Is it as simple as peeling it off if you don't like it? Or does it need professionally removing?
 
I would make sure it is high quality stuff at that price, as you can barely cover a roof for that and that is for the materials alone. If its something like 3M then I would go for it straight away. Im sure there are a few people on here who would snap his hand off at that price!

Yeah it is as simple as finding a corner and pulling to remove it. Heat helps to do it without tearing but its very easy to get off if you don't like it.
