TC and ABS lights on after battery change

Hey guys,

Changing the reverse switch on the gearbox.. took everything apart carefully. Only to find I had been sent a 2 pin switch when I needed a 3 pin. Not to worry.. put it all back together.

Now it all starts up as usual, put in the radio code etc. Though the TC and ABS lights have come on.

I'm sure I read somewhere this sometimes happens after a battery change, can anyway elaborate on it?

Annoyingly the car is sitting here till the end of march as thats when the insurance kicks in (7k when I'm 19 or 1k when I'm 20.. no brainer) so just trying to sort things! Which puts off driving it to get rid of the lights.

Shouldn't matter if I leave it!

I bought it 2 weeks ago, it's just sitting on the drive till I'm 20 in a months time. **** 7k for insurance!
