Synthetic brake fluid?

never heard that before, I was under the impression all modern brake fluids are synthetic. I use synthetic in both our Clio's

ps I just use AP Racing Formula DOT 5.1

it's a fiver and that means you can replace it 3 times more often.

Yes but 5.1 has to be changed every 6 months, pain in the arse!!!

I think i'll give it a go then, if other ppl use it with no issues thats cool.

every 2 years more like

Have no idea where you get the idea it needs changing more often.

But if you do track days you may as well buy the AP 5.1 and change after every 4 at a fiver a go.

Dot 4 is more hygroscopic if any thing.

no such thing as 4.1

or if you just want the best buy Castrol SRF which is in a class of it's own but is £50 a go

sorry, your right theres not such thing as 4.1, but you know what I mean lol

Dot 4 does absorb slightly more water than 5.1, making it better for your lines but not from a boiling point of view.
