swapping wheels?

Hi guys, i've just had an offer to swap my anthracite 200 wheels for 18" megane wheels. I love the look of the Meg wheels but are there any real downsides to having them rather than 17s? I'm guessing they're going to be a little heavier but anything else apart from weight? Thanks

Nah. Like you say, weight but that's about it. Depending on what profile tyre, if youre lowered you may get a small amount of rubbing but nothing major.

I have a set of 18" r26 megane wheels here . Looking to swap for cup speedlines or something similar.

Stubs are clio 200 ff cup wheels, not speedlines.

Also [MENTION=51731]CwTuning[/MENTION] do you know there are two different speedlines, there are cup racer speedlines which are wider than the more common type, just so you don't confuse people.

Yeah sorry I should have made that more clear. Am I right in saying the ones on normal non cup racers are just a copy to some extent.

I did have some but I swapped for the Meg wheels and want cups back haha

Cup racers are 8J and usually white.

Standard are 7.5J and usually black.
