Ok for the point of this is just to hear your views. Nothing is right or wrong just wnat to hear what you guys think. So going to ask the questions now.

250bhp car is it best to:

change the springs only and keep the rest as standard which are pretty good anyways

or

change the lot with a coilover kit?

What suspension do you have now? And yes V1's will be fine.

depends on budget too. V3's are worth there weight in gold but they are £1244 quid

I would definately recomend them though as they make the car feel like a totally different car.
