Stiff Steering wheel

Hello there members I'm really hoping that you can help me to solve the problem that i have with my clio 3 rs 197 .
The car is used for rally in group N. After removing the ABS because i cant use it in rallying the steering wheel has become stiff and my speedometer is not working any advice on how to fix that not so much the speedometer but the steering wheel because I can't change the electrical POWER STEERING BECAUSE OF FIA REGULATIONS
 
Hey. I've just picked up my 2nd 197 and the steering seems a lot stiffer than my previous one. Did you ever manage to figure out what to do with yours? Thanks

Do you have an aftermarket steering wheel? A broken squib can cause the power steering to stop working
