Stereo and clock fault

driving home today and the radio and clock and everything that displays in the upper screen just decided it wasnt wanting to continue and went off.

Its an aftermarket Alpine player in the car, Ive had it out, checked all connections, replaced the fuse under the steering wheel associated with the stereo and still nothing.

Anyone had this happen, was it something easily fixed or a trip to the dealership?

Cheers

Have you sill got original head unit? Could try plugging that in and see if it works to rule out head unit?

the battery reset didnt work, will have to get into the loft and dig out the standard cd player. Does the power for the clock run through the cd player?

my clio MK3 1.2 tCE did this the day i was trading it in. I never found out what it was but it'd only done 33k miles and was 1 and a half years old. let me know when you find out

sorted! Had blown a secondary fuse. Located in behind the glovebox. Should have been fitted with a 15A fuse, instead it had a 5A fuse which obviously had blown. Nice to know everyones paying attention at the Renaultsport factory
