Steering wheel refurb questions........

Can they put heating elements in the steering wheel? or is this something completely different.

Would be nice for a heated steering wheel!

Battery connected or disconnected for steering wheel removal ?

If you have your handbook, there will be a sticker in that with the radio code on it

But I didn't need it
Once all swapped over and reconnected
Plugged battery negative back on, and all was right as rain
A small drive will turn the esp light off

I thought id looked everywhere. I'll go look in the handbook now.

But maybe its got a battery back-up or is ok for short while it appears.......

It is in my handbook one page from the back on the sticker as you said @dolby20.

Turning the steering wheel lock to lock a few times also gets rid of it

If you don't trust your handiwork, turn the wheel instead of going for a drive
