Std Exhaust Drone?

Hi having owned my std 197 for 2wks and thoroughly enjoying it I have now found that at @ 70mph on motorways and dual carriageways you get a rather annoying drone from the exhaust! either side it all but disappears! is this a common trait with the std exhaust or could it be a sign that a baffle has gone?

So for a std exhaust system when on most cars they are fairly quite on our type of car it more vocal

On my old 197 Id of said more engine noise than exhaust noise at 70 on a std unit

Certain rpm does produce a bit of a drone.

The issue is the revs the engine is spinning at at 70mph.

my 182 is the same, drove me nuts driving it home from plymoth, found you just have to go a bit slower or a bit faster problem solved
