Squealing while reversing

Howdy folks,

Hope all is well!

I have noticed what seems to be my brakes squealing while reversing. It may or may not be the brakes though.

I am not applying any brakes at the time and the handbrake is definitely off. It started when I had the wheels turned to full lock while reversing but seems to be happening a lot more frequently now.

Anyone experienced this or have any idea's what it could be???

Hopefully nothing major cause I have two new Conti CS5's to fit this week... $$$$$

Thanks lads!
John

mine used to do this everytime i reversed. I put it down to brake dust or similar because after a month or so it just stopped! and hasnt done it since.

could have a slightly "binding" caliper...

its worth a check of the brakes and the usual - strip/clean/lube/refit job

rear calipers are a very open design and do collect plenty of road dirt/salt...
