Squealing from car when accelerating. HELP ASAP

When accelerating in any gear at any revs the car is making a sort of squealing/screeching noise, not sure where the problem is coming from can someone help please as i am really starting to worry about this now.

Hard to tell (well near impossible) without seeing/hearing the car but could it be the fan belt?

I have taken it to two garages and they both said they cannot hear it and one was a Renault specialists garage. Am i just being paranoid

Who have you taken it to mate? The guys over at DDC in doncaster are pretty switched on when it comes to Renaultsports.

Sounds like exactly what I have. Mine seems to be while the car is driving, not just acceleration. Like somethings rubbing but really high pitched. Took a "master" technician out who could hear nothing and it's now loud enough to hear over the top of my new exhaust!!

Shot in the dark.. depending on how high pitched the sound is compared to the age of the technician/mechanic, they might not be able to hear frequencies that high any more.. Though it's probably unlikely

Its not the fan belt then as that's very obvious. Does the noise modulate with revs or is it a constant at any rpm?
