spell checker

after my pc died last week ive noticed that it doesnt underline miss spellings anymore when on the net.
what do i need to do.

Do you have firefox, IE, google chrome or any other kind of browser?

I know Firefox has this as default (at least I had it) but now I'm using IE and it doesn't have that, and I don't know if you can install any kind of add-on for that.

You can try this:

Maybe yours is turned off and instead changing that number from 1 to 2 you have to change it from 0 or 1 (or 2 if you like that feature)

My spell check on firefox randomly stopped working last week too. It's turned on in the menus etc so maybe its a FF issue? You got the most recent release Jase?

It's free and awesome, Been using it for years and no faults.
Shame you have an iPhone as you can sync Opera for Windows with Opera for phones.

Ok think I found the problem, if you're staying with firefox, try installing the British English dictionary from here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3366

Apparently it wasn't bundled with the latest versions. Mine works now
