Good summary M, never understood the thrill of driving in such public spaces like a dick... danger to the public and hassle from the police, not worth it.

So true mate, the police side of it is their issue but running into a young mum with a pram minding her own business in a car park is something else!

I was walking across a car park, with my trolley, and knocked down, broke foot etc. There were plenty of witnesses, who came forward, picked me up. The driver said, he did not see me, as his windows were misted up!.Now you know, why I walk backwards in a car park, scanning for potential danger!!.

In truth I believe that the vast majority of members here are way beyond this kind of crap so I doubt very much he/she will see this post. I'm allowed my free bus pass in 2yrs 3months 12days & I don't believe I am in a minority in hating this stuff. I'm not a fuddy duddy & enjoy bending rules when safe/feasible but you have to know when & where. That's how I have a clean licence after over 42 years biking/driving at the speeds people actually do.

I was also knocked down in a car park by a tosser I unfortunately knew, I went over the bonnet and my leg went under. Fractured it underneath my kneecap which lead to me having to leave my plumbing apprenticeship. 3 months on crutches, not fun.
