Snow Foam

So just bought myself some snow foam and a DAS-6 machine polisher from cleanyourcar so was going to have a bash on the clio this weekend, weather permitting.

My partner has a convertible smart car so I wondered if it was safe to snow foam her car too?

Cheers

I had to lol at this.... After taking a Audi TT to a hand car wash centre with a faulty roof seal, I ended up looking like frosty the snow man and that was with the roof up lol

I personally wouldn't foam it - get it cleaned properly with a dedicated cleaner and protect it with a dedicated product again. The foam will just soak it and not clean much at all, then it'll take an age to dry.

i would have to disagree. Im not a pro detailer, i'm not even a dedicated amateur. But here is a video i made of how much contamination snow foam removes before you put any pressure on the car

With a good wax foam comes off almost instantly!

I'll do a vid next time I clean the car and show you what it's like on swissvax best of show.

I'm on about the convertible roof? Assuming its fabric.

yes the roof is fabric, didnt get a chance to do my car or the missus car last weeked due to the god awful weather. at least it gives me more time to watch some tutorials on how to machine polish
