If you suspect an engine fire arent you supposed to pop the bonnet and open it if possible to aid the firemen to put it out? Impossible for them to do if the bonnet is shut.

not really as when you do the force of the fire will increase - you leave it alone for the "firemen" to sort

i think if they used snowfoam it would have put the fire out quicker
