Silverstone Sunday service

Few from Sunday, not the greatest as off the iPhone as all I had, was a black 197 on track and a red 200 along with few 172's and a Trophy.

Was a great day and first track outing for me this year, the national circuit was really good fun, and if those pit walls could talk.

How many cars were in a session? As Trax this year will be using the national circuit instead of the gp and say that there will be 45 cars on track. Didn't know if this would be too many.

45 cars on the national circuit is quite a lot. Personally you'd have to pay me to go on track at Trax (or any other show for that matter)!!

If you want a cheap track session look at getting a 'taster' session with MSV or don't bother IMO.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, if your car is just a track beater that you don't care about (and you've got decent cage/helmet/harness) then I would imagine they're fun sessions, if the car is something you take care of and don't like the idea of getting tapped by some tool in a ITB'd Saxo then I'd stay away (like I do).

This is why I asked. We are going up to Trax anyway so though why not as previous year's sessions on the GP circuit looked fine..

I have asked the Trax team why they are using the National Circuit this year but they have ignored my posts :@

They'll be using it because its cheaper. Smaller track = less marshals and support vehicles.

Looks like a busy day, do they still use those 200's for the young driver thing?

Yeah I think so, they are the cars used for the ducks and drakes, and there's an experience day they do with them and meganes.
