Silverstone RenaultSport Trackday - March 2010

Had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING time at the RenaultSport trackday yesterday, probably the most fun I've had in a long time!

The day started really wet (at this point in time, i was nearly crying.. lol) however once out on track with my instructor (Formula 3 Driver) i could control the car really well, even when the back end was kicking out due to me lifting off whilst turning into luffield.

All-in-all, this is where the Clio belongs, truely an amazing car to drive around a track. Anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to take a car around the track should!!

As you can see, the track did start off really wet...

Yea was my first, didn't take my Clio out though, just went to see what it was all about and got some tuition in one of Silverstone's 200's.

My "official" first will be at Bedford.

bedford is pretty decent i really enjoyed it until the weather took hold! tis a longggg track tho takes a few laps to learn the layout

Liking the picture's Jace, especially the one's in and around the pit garages! Glad you enjoyed the day, despite the weather! The car is looking good, white is definatly the colour for me!:biggrin:

Yea, halfway is just down the road. Definitely up for some kind of mini-meet once the sun gets out!

It was off i believe, I don't think I'll be too much different in my own car, I've done quite a lot of racing in the past so i have some kind of "car control" on a track, obviously I'll be a bit more careful than i would normally. But as long as you drive safe, you should stay safe.

I'm doing the Bedford evening, Oulton and Silverstone hopefully.

Looks like a great day! This is something i would really love to do, havnt tried it as of yet. The only time i went on track was last year at FCS for the memorial lap.
