Silver Exterior Trim?

I have seen many Clio 197s with & without Silver Door handles, colour coded door strip trim. Im confused in what was an option and what seperates the 197 from the 197 Cup?

What was the options on the 197 Cup? Could you spec it with the Silver door handles and not the colour coded door trims or was this available too as I dont think I have seen this on a Cup.

iirc silver handles were for keyless entry

Cup has matt black handles, mouldings and mirror covers, standard has silver handles, body colour mouldings and mirrors. Standard 200 may have gloss black mirror covers.

Right ok, so can we now confirm that the silver handle was/ is for keyless entry.

Silver handles seen on all these Clio Cup Cars. Was the standard 197 used as the shell or is the keyless entry not distinguished with the silver handle? Note: some have colour coded door trim strip too.
