Small update time. Early start yesterday as finally managed to get the one person with a welder that I know to help me out. As a result I now have a bar to hang the boot net off and I think it looks pretty good. Need to get it painted or powder coated now and trim the door cards to fit but the hardest work is over [emoji4]
Was it a proper QS? Been tempted away from the Clio by those lately as they're really holding there value and look like mega fun
They're really good. Nice friendly atmosphere full of proper car enthusiasts and low numbers of cars.
Funnily enough I was looking at the dates earlier and was going to book one of the Rockingham dates but may be tempted to go to Bedford instead if someone else off here is going.

18th August was the Rockingham one I was thinking of as I'm actually dog sitting that week and will be 20 minutes away from the circuit so it made perfect sense!

Well I got impatient this morning. I've ordered some sidemounts for the new seat this morning but am waiting to see if they match the mounting holes on the seat. On all the info I can find the current Pole Position seats have a distance of 286mm between mounting points but mine is an older one which measures up at 290mm. This happens to be the same as the Sabelt is so needless to say I though I'd see if it fits. Pictures speak a thousand words as they say
I'm going to wait until I have got the sidemounts before ordering up the Recaro adaptor frames as I want to make sure that it will fit correctly. This seat will actually be going on the passenger side when I get the frames sorted and I will be selling my factory CS's and probably buying a brand new PP aslong as there isn't a ridiculous wait from the factory.
Only other decision now is that due to this one having a heavily marked back it's going to need painting or wrapping. Would gloss red backs be too much do you think?
