10/10 for dry is one hell of a claim! really?

My ad08s are good but not 10/10

I wonder what Toyo R888's and Fed RSR's will get rated as?

Cool thread tho

Continental Sport Contact 3;

ContiSportContact3.jpg

As fitted from the factory but I run mine at 30PSi all round instead of 32PSi/30PSi.

Dry = 8/10

Very sharp and responsive with loads of grip and a progressive drop off rather than a snap. Sticky to touch when warm. :smiley:

Wet = 9/10

About as good as a performance road tyre can be. Once warm they're very sure-footed and inspire confidence.

From what I've been told by people behind me, they clear and throw up a lot of water too.

Price = £125 per tyre but only paid £25 per tyre thanks to Tyre Insurance, this was fitted and supplied through the insurers mobile guy.

You can tell how much they throw up look at the boot lid

AD08s £100 each
Wet: 7
Dry: 9

R888s £140 each (ish)
Wet: -10
Dry: 11

Can't really express the huge vast gaping chasm of a difference in performance without breaking the scale.

think its hard to compare unless you've tried several tyres but here's my honest opinion after running dunlop sp sport 3000 front and conti 3's rear which the car came with,the conti's on the rear felt good but i thought the dunlops understeered a fair bit so i thought i'd try some yoko AD08's
