Should there be light in the cigarette lighter?

So in my 2006 clio 3 there is no any illumination. Is bulb broken or what?
The lighter works ok.

I don't know there be a light in the cigarette lighter or not may be it can be another problem if the cigarette lighter works on. I don't think the bulb broke, it should be something what you can not notice.
