im due a service soon only done 9500 but car is 2006 model, so due a cambelt aswell, i live in burntwood so thinkning of taking it to my local renault which is cannock! has any1 ever used them before and what do you think? or shud i just use my local backstreet garage?

Not used them, but their parts department never answer the phone! So judging by that I wouldn't! Lol! Renault Wolverhampton are quite good. Nothing to rave about, but they are ok.

Unfortunately all the Renault dealers around here are part of Rea Group. There is the new one Kidderminster way, Sutton Park I think, but never tried them. It used to be Walker Renault, but they went bust.

I was going to use sutton park, but going to a specialist now who fitted new pads for me, the 1 lad has a 182 and the other has a megane F1 so they know there renault sports! What is on the 4th year service does anyone know?

I used the speacialists at Four Ashes in Wolverhampton for my old Clio and they seemed quite good.

Gotta give credit to Smiths in Peterborough, they have sorted me out well a few times now. This includes giving them an hours notice at 3pm on said day for them to fit new window wiper stalk and check wiring. Couldnt fault them.

Fred quoted me about 400 quid all in for a cambelt change.
Birchdown quoted me 320 ish.
