Service Due Message

When i got my car it had been serviced and on the on board computer it displayed the message the next service was due in around 7000 miles. I have done around 1000 since owning it and the message now display "service Due". The spanner has not came on just to add.

Anyone had similar happen, what can be done to remove the message?

there is a way to reset it mate. I did it on mine where you hold the trip button or something. Have a search on here and something will pop up. Try you tube too

even look in the manual....it tells you in there as well

Press and hold either bottom of both buttons on the right hand stalk whilst the service message is being displayed, wait until the message begins to flash (norm 10-15 seconds) then press and hold again until it dissapears.

Everyone seems to have missed the obvious question.

When was it serviced? The countdown works on miles and time, the intervals are 12k or 12months whichever comes first.
