Service due light/message

Just had my car serviced, notice ive still got service due message in the menu (no spanner) can it be reset or do i have to wait till the service and d
Spanner signs comes up. Ive tried the press and hold the stalk button on the message and it not working.

It will reset but it feels like an age to do it, takes a longer hold then the other menus.

I *think* you have to hold both stalk buttons instead of just one, it's a while since I did mine though now.

He leaves it on 18000 but if you use the up and down you can scroll through to the 12000
