Fort William to Isle of Mull is a great drive. Two ferries and lots of single track, scenery is stunning.

Great photos, would love to do a roadtrip with mine in the future!
Saw you post some of the photos on instagram jimmy, it only clicked the other day that was your instagram page!

Looks like it was a mega drive though, top effort!

Great photos Chris :thumbup1:

Great snaps, and i've not seen anything but sunshine yet..........

The only rain we had was the on the drive down the East coast back to Loch Ness. Other than that it was sunny and hot! I think we got very lucky!

To be honest, the stat looks good but I wasn't all too impressed fuel wise... Motorways bring it up a lot and I covered a lot of motorways on this trip, travelling too and fro Scotland, obviously yes it's going to excel here with it being a turbo, but day to day doing the route, I was putting in as much fuel as these guys, literally the same most of the time within a litre.. But what lets it down is it has a smaller tank, so when your using the same amount of fuel I'm needing the petrol station more than these guys cos of the small tank!!

But fuel isn't too much of a problem up there, there is regular stops and we had a map of them (even though Pav was desperately craving v power - there's none of that up there lol!)

i wanted to cry really but had to shut up and get on with it..yeah there is no v power up there boys :bat:

Nothing can describe the panic of noticing 10 miles left in the tank, in the middle of nowhere without the knowledge of a nearby shell garage!!!
Stock up on the jerry cans next time haha

Your road trip looked amazing and youz def got the good weather (trust me a one off) lol! Stay in scotland and not driven all of these roads. Excellent pics.:jase2:

I was a bit wary of putting regular unleaded in, but to be fair I didn't notice any difference with the car  we were fortunate though that there were plenty of fuel stops, we were never too far from a station.

V power available in Inverness but nowhere north of there. Momentum 99 is available in Inverness, Tain, Wick & I think Thurso. I've not had problems as long as I fill up in Inverness before going for a hoon on these wonderful roads. I moved to Inverness from Surrey 16 years ago coz I was sick of driving in London. (I'm a white van man for a living). Now I drive these great roads daily & get paid for it. Best move I ever made!

In passing - my friend with a 690hp GTR was advised by Lichfield to run on Tesco Momentum or V-power. As he passes a Tesco on his way to work (And its like 9p per litre cheaper) he's always used that.

Since hes had the car its always had a few fuelling hiccups (From cold ?), and has always sooted up not only the inside of the tail-pipes; but the back of the car. Its a Silver car - and after a week of not cleaning it used to look like a diesel, and was black as the ace of spades at the rear-end / rear bumper.

The Tesco he used was fairly recently shut for 3 weeks for a refurb. So he was "forced" to use V-power.

Within 2 tanks he said, running better, felt stronger and no black soot anywhere to be seen. He said he'll now never use anything else.

****May not be applicable to me / you / your car. But in this example - you decide........

I did do a delivery to a lass in Tain who runs a highly modified Supra that she runs on a mix of 98 octane & avgas that she mixes herself! Now we're talking! 103 octane I think she said. Yeagh maybe V power is the best but I'm just saying that at least you're not just stuck with 95 octane if you're heading north of Inverness.
