Saw my old R27 the other day :'(

I was following the girlfriend as she was dropping off her car to get it serviced.
Turned into the road where she was dropping her car off and it was there I first noticed an Ultra Red 197 with xenons tucked in a row of parked cars.

I knew straight away it was my old motor, got closer and yes it was.

Sometimes (in fact quite a lot of the times) I miss the old girl. At least it's still local to me in Chichester and at least the clutch pedal didn't squeak all the time like the one in it's replacement!!

gutted I know what you feel. I seen my old MK2 1.2 ages ago and it still had the wheels on it I had painted. They looked mint!! but the rest of the car had been chavved up . I also seen my old 1.2 TCE and to be fair the guy had been looking after it. None compare to the R27 though!

Actually Maz, for the first few weeks I really did regret it. But in hindsight the 200 is a better car, all of the shortcomings of the 197 have been ironed out. Apart from the lack of xenons and slightly suspect looks.
